THINGS YOU SEE WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES - pictures

Here's pictures of all the pieces in the exhibition. A couple of them didn't turn out great. I'll try to post new ones tomorrow together with some installation pics.

If you're interested in purchasing a piece, contact the gallery at info@gallerisilfverberg.com or me directly at niklas@niklasasker.se.

And remember, the show closes November 5, so if you haven't seen it yet, get goin!

Some progress shots from one of the paintings. Things are slowly coming together. 2 days left till the big party. Hope to see y'all there!

You know you've got the right job when you actually like leaving the studio at one in the morning, then get up at 8.30 and go back to work. Crazy. But fun.

27 days to go. Slowly getting there. Very slowly...

Monday, September 28, 2009

In the mail today...

Very soon in a store near you (if you're Swedish).

So much going on right now. The exhibition is slowly taking shape, I'm talking to publishers about a Swedish version of Second thoughts, which would mean translations into Swedish, Italian and Dutch this spring! Crazy. On top of that I'm talking to an American publisher about a giant project for next year. Nice!

Now I really have to get some sleep.

Just came back from the bookfair in Gothenburg which was chaos as usual. I was there for only one (and a half) day and still I was dead tired when I got back home. Been avoiding it for four years now but this year I had some stuff to do and people to meet. And it was worth it.

back in the studio and working late. The first painting is slowly getting there and it's the best feeling in the world. I'll post the finished piece here sometime this week. Invitations and more specs about the opening will be out soon too. ONE month left. I have no idea how this is going to work out.

But it will, as always.

love
